Session structure
In your first session, I will ask about your current challenges, psychosocial landscape and background. I will also get a sense of the elements of your life that are helpful and protective.
In the sessions following, I will provide talk therapy and in some cases EMDR therapy.
Session length
Each therapeutic session is 50 minutes duration.
Session fee
$240 per session. A General Practitioner (GP) provided Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) will allow you to claim a Medicare rebate of $96.65 per session for 10 session per year. You will need to see your GP for a MHCP review at 6 sessions.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please let me know via email or contact Wellspace. A fee of $100 will be charged for less than 48 hours notice and full fee for less than 24 hours notice. There are no Medicare or private health rebates to cover cancellation fees.
Confidentiality
It is my ethical and professional responsibility to keep your information private and confidential. However, I disclose confidential information only under the following circumstances:
(a) with your consent or a person with legal authority to act on your behalf
(b) where there is a legal obligation to do so
(c) if there is an immediate and specified risk of harm to you or an identifiable person that can be averted only by disclosing information
